Nothing complex but the sound is hugeeeee. Ha! I also love how his voice cracks, real shiiaat right there. Rosetta Tharpe played some smooth riffs. Had some vinyl of hers come my way for free! Too bad my record player is busted :( Good jams though. There's a comp called Pachuco Soul: Sounds of East LA out there. Pretty cool comp, been trying to get my hands on the vinyl version. But after reading your list I decided to pull the cobwebs off my bike and visit the arroyo. Some emails, lots o' coffee, ironing while I watched a futbol match, out of nowhere thought of the band A.P.P.L.E. (gonna look for the mp3s), and now settling into my computer lair to try and write up a post. So it was kinda productive while I goofed around. Yay!
